Starting this nonprofit off with a series of successes, we were able to collect a total of $900 worth of school supplies, worked with 10 consistent volunteers, donated to 140 students and 50 teachers.

A grant from the Dragon Kim Foundation
We were honored to receive a $3,000 grant from the Dragon Kim Foundation and complimentary training, which played a key role in helping us kickstart our nonprofit.

Bret R. Tarver Elementary School
We collected and dropped off $300 worth of school supplies to Bret R. Tarver Elementary School.

Summer Packaging Event
We hosted our kickoff event with a packaging session where ten amazing volunteers joined us to assemble and distribute school supplies for individual students and teachers. We are incredibly grateful for their support and dedication!

Madrid Neighborhood School Summer Drive
Over the summer we collected $600 worth of school supplies and donated them to Madrid Neighborgood School. We were also featured on abc15 news!

Madrid Neighborhood School Winter Drive

We collected $100 worth of supplies and distributed them to Madrid Neighborhood School in the beginning of January.

We held a drive at Aviano during January and received a large number of donations.

Winning Martin Luther King Jr. Merit Award/Grant

Smart Supplies was honored to win 1st place in the Martin Luther King Jr. Merit Award for our 5-month project on our project's relation to Martin Luther King Jr's legacy! The $1,000 prize will be used directly to provide school supplies to underprivileged students across Arizona.

Drive #2​
Smart Supplies hosted a drive at Aviano Community Center and other community centers around Arizona from March to May. We were able to successfully collect ~$500 worth of school supplies for our back-to-school donation!
